UCB Golf Tournament

The fifth annual United Church Golf Tournament is slated for Saturday, September 17th at the Oak Ridge Golf Course in Gill. Teams of four are invited to participate in the "best ball" event.

Coffee and doughnuts get the morning registration process started. The tournament gets underway with an 8AM shotgun start.

Several accuracy (or is it luck?) contests are available during the day:

Closest to the Pin

Hole in One

Most Accurate Shot

Longest Drive

There will also be a variety of raffles and prizes.

Since its inception, the golf tournament has become a different way to enjoy the unique brand of UCB fellowship. Tournament chairman Bob Allen can be reached at 648-5397 for registrations and specifics about this year's tournament.

Christmas Bazaar

Ring in the season with Bells!

That's the theme for this year's Christmas Bazaar, set for Saturday November 19th.

This is the perfect time to get a head start on your Christmas shopping list!

Old Home Day/All Church Picnic

The Bernardston Recreation Department has set the date for Old Home Day to be August 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Cushman Park.

I expect that similar events held in past years will be part of this year’s events. The Recreation Department will be looking for many volunteers to help with the events of the day. Please be prepared to help.

Stay tuned for future announcements about this special town celebration.

The All Church Picnic/Old Home Day celebration will be a prelude to our 250th birthday party next year.

Worship at UCB

Join us for our weekly Worship Service, held Sunday at 10:30AM.

Communion is served during the Worship Service held on the first Sunday of every month. Children leave for Sunday School following a children's message. Visit with your friends and neighbors in Fellowship Hall following the Sunday service. Nursery care is available.

United Church is fully accessible for all with two elevators and a wheelchair ramp. Large print hymnals and pew bibles are available. Hearing devices are provided upon request.

We also hold bi-monthly Healing Services. Check our calendar for dates and times.
